People want a Star Trek future but they are not willing to understand the work it takes to get us there.
There have been so many crude comments by people reacting and putting down the Artemis mission to the moon. They state with anger not with thinking that we could feed millions with the money it took to send people to the moon. But they never realized or understood that far more billions are being spent daily to kill people in war and pollute our atmosphere at an unprecedented rate.
Every week SpaceX sends up rockets for profit, not for much exploration of space. SBut when Nasa sends a larger rocket to the moon for the first time in over 50 years to do something positive they attack NASA and the mission.
It’s all emotional and lacks critical thinking. As you read this, know that the benefits from space exploration you enjoy everyday from medicine to technology you wouldn’t have if we never first took to the skies at Kitty Hawk over 100 years ago.
We should end all wars, come together, remove our flags and divisions and explore our universe in peace. So much money is spent on the war machine that the small amount of money spent on space exploration by comparison is minuscule. Less than one penny of every tax dollar.
We will never have Star Trek if we continue to war and support politics that embrace it and encourage you in the name of god to kill.
My understanding of God is that people believe that God is love and peace. No one should ever ask God to kill our enemies. Those that do are their own enemy.
If you want peace you need to find it inside yourself first.
