Isn't it strange that being aware of injustice is now considered an undesirable trait.

Yes indeed. The "right" always made me mad calling us sheep so I called them ostriches burying their head in the sand. This is a myth about the ostrich based on some fact but fits them perfectly.

That would be the MSNBC definition, I guess. In reality, it's just one more shabby ploy to exploit white liberal guilt. It's the kind of nutball thinking that a dirt bag like George Floyd into a "hero" while sending a decent cop to prison, and revved up the imbecilic "defund the police" movent, which damned nearly destroyed every city whose administrators were stupid enough to put it in place. On the cultural side, it's resulted in a steady stream of expensive but well deserved flops for Disney, its' MCU and Star Wars franchises, just to name a few. The slogan "Get Woke Go Broke" has turned out to be deliciously true. It's a hoot seeing big time lefties such as Zuckerberg backpedaling the way that they are, now that the tide is turning. Their ilk just about succeeded in crashing Western Civilization, before thinking people finally stood up and said, "No more." The tide has turned. There's a new sheriff in town, and a new day dawning.
